Why are my iPhone photos HEIC?
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default because it is smaller than JPG at similar quality. Many websites and older programs still only accept JPG, which is what this page is for.

If a HEIC file contains several images, the first one is converted.
Is EXIF data kept?
