My image cannot get under 20 KB. What can I do?
Allow shrinking the pixel size, or enter a smaller width and height. A 20 KB JPEG typically holds a few hundred pixels on a side at acceptable quality; a full-resolution phone photo will not fit.
Is a 20 KB file checked as 20,000 or 20,480 bytes?
The tool keeps the result at or under 20,000 bytes, so it also passes forms that count 1 KB as 1024 bytes.
Can I compress a signature scan?
Yes. Choose the scan, optionally set the pixel size the form asks for, and compress. Transparent PNG signatures are placed on white for JPEG.
Is my file uploaded?
