Frequently asked questions
Why is my result bigger than the original file?
It will not be for files that already fit: those are left unchanged. A file is only re-encoded when it is over the limit, in a different format, or you asked for a specific pixel size.
JPEG or WebP?
WebP is usually smaller at similar quality, but some forms only accept JPG. Pick JPEG unless you know WebP is accepted.
