Header and catalog version: Many files declare one version in the %PDF- header and a later one in the catalog. Both are shown, along with the version that actually applies.
Compliance claims, honestly labelled: PDF/A part and conformance level, PDF/UA and PDF/X are read from the file's own XMP metadata and marked as claimed, not validated.

Which version does my PDF really use?
The %PDF-x.y header gives the base version. A /Version entry in the document catalog can raise it, which is common after incremental edits. The tool shows both, and the one that applies.
My file says PDF/A. Is it really?
The claim is only what the file says about itself. The tool flags obvious contradictions (encryption, non-embedded fonts), but only a dedicated validator can confirm conformance.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Everything is read locally in your browser.
